This work combines Eastern and Western traditions. The art of kintsugi-repairing objects with gold-serves as a metaphor for resilience and transformation. Yet, though repaired, the item is never quite the same again. The piece is inspired by the life and work of Marina Abramovic and her love story with Ulay.
