自 10 月 24 日至 27 日，瓦倫蒂娜・康琪（Valentina Conchie） 將於台北舉辦個展，首次公開發表她的全新繪畫作品。展覽將呈現她為本次展會特別創作的系列——《倒影：每個人心中的自我》 (Reflections: The Self in Everyone)。
關於瓦倫蒂娜・康琪的作品
瓦倫蒂娜・康琪（Valentina Conchie，又名 狂美杜鵑Vibrant Cuckoo） 是一位以具象表現為主的藝術家，其創作橫跨繪畫、攝影與拼貼。她的藝術深受東西方文化視角的啟發，融合了民間傳說、素人藝術、迷幻藝術與普普藝術等元素，形成鮮明獨特的視覺語言——以強烈的色彩、層疊的象徵意象與充滿情感張力的畫面構築出她的藝術世界。
藝術家的策展理念
「本次展出的作品如同心靈的鏡子——既是個人的，也是共享的。觀者或許能在其中看見自己未完成的夢想、那些無聲祈求的片刻，或是不確定的陰影之後，迎來嶄新黎明的光。在這個崇尚效率、掩藏自我懷疑的時代，這個系列為人們提供了一個反思、共感與真誠面對情感的空間。作品根植於東西方象徵之中，承認我們共同經歷的掙扎，並展現精神的成長與蛻變——以樂觀與自我力量的召喚，回應那句永恆的信念：『有志者，事竟成。』」

From the 24th of October to the 27th Valentina Conchie will unveil her latest paintings at her solo exhibition in Taipei. The exhibit will feature works from her new series “Reflections: The Self in Everyone”, specially developed for this show.
About Valentina Conchie’s Work
Valentina Conchie (aka Vibrant Cuckoo) is a figurative artist whose practice spans painting, photography, and collage. Shaped by both Eastern and Western perspectives, she fuses elements of folklore, Art Naïf, Psychedelic and Pop Art forming a vibrant and distinctive visual language that merges vivid colour, layered symbolism, and bold, emotionally charged imagery.
Artist’s Curatorial Rationale
“The pieces in this exhibition act like visual mirrors: both personal and shared. A viewer might recognise their own unfinished dreams, their private moments of silent pleading, or the long shadows of uncertainty finally followed by a rise of the new day.
In a time where productivity is worshipped and self-doubt hidden, this series offers space for reflection, empathy, and emotional truth.
Routed in both eastern and western symbolism these works acknowledge the struggles we face and show an evolution of the spirit with the call to optimism and self-empowerment because ‘Where there’s a will, there’s a way’.”

Valentina Conchie in Attendance at the Exhibition
Valentina Conchie will be introducing her work in person, offering insights into her creative process and inspiration during her art talks. In addition, Valentina Conchie will personally conduct live creations sessions at the following times:
On Thursday, 23/10 Exclusively for VIPs, at 17:30 and 19:00
On Friday, 24/10 at 17:30
On Saturday, 25/10 at 16:00
On Sunday, 26/10 at 17:30
Each session will last approximately 30 minutes.
